New Education Policy 2020, Why new? As we, Indians have any policy on education after 34 longs years so its worth calling "new". No doubt it's time to celebrate as it brings evolutionary changes in education sector of country. It focuses on developing ethics, good behavior, critical thinking, creativity, skill development and resilience among our students. Policy presents education as wholistic parameter of life growth and career development. It focuses on the amalgamation of school education, vocational skills and higher education. The structure of policy is highly ambitious and based on the global and ethical parameters of quality education.
Now, as a teacher and university professor I am introspecting that am I and my students are ready for this change? Is there anything specific thing I can do as an University Assistant Professor to make my students ready for this change? How can I build up on my skills to cater the globalization of education which soon we all will going to witness as the result of "new" education policy?
